Veterans Outreach
Too many of our honored Veterans have PTSD, on medication, are jobless and Homeless. They put their life on hold to keep out freedoms. We need more places to give Veterans a quite, relaxing place to learn life skills and recover from the devastation of PTSD and combat. Healing takes time, and can not be fixed in a 1 or 2 week camp or class. We provide a 30, 60, 90 (or longer) day opportunity to give them the time they need for this transition. We need Veterans living alongside Veterans and helping each other get back on their feet and back to their loved ones. If we want our Veterans to want to come back home. We need to provide a home environment for them to practice coming home to. Teaching our Veterans to return back to the Hospital or recovery class is not teaching them how to get back home. Veterans and everyone else knows, people learn that what ever we practice, we do, we become. Practice makes perfect.
Sirens, dog's barking, families yelling, crazy music, honking cars. Too many daily detractions that trigger PTSD and anger. We provide a place free from life's chaos to allow the Veteran to enjoy, peace. Real Peace.

Recovery
Takes 3 dedicated months, with no outside influences to make a Soldier. So we know this model works. So we believe it takes at least 3 months of dedicated, with no negative outside influences, to re-train them to be a civilian. There is no "Shortcut" for time.

Personal Growth
Most Soldiers are not even sure who they are, what they are, what they like, or even what career options are available to them, when their tour is up. We teach fishing, boating, construction, plumbing, electrical, gardening, electronics, to help find what they want to do.
